To see the difference between centrifugal fans and axial fans

The primary difference between centrifugal fans and axial fans is that: centrifugal fans change the flow direction of the medium in the duct, while axial fans do not change the flow direction of the medium in the duct; the former installation is more complex; the former motor and fan is generally connected through the belt driven rolling wheel, the latter motor is generally in the fan, the former is often installed in the air conditioning unit inlet and outlet, boiler drum, induced draft fan, and so on. The latter is often installed in the duct near, or the front of the duct outlet.

In addition, there are oblique flow (mixed flow) fans, wind pressure coefficient than axial fans, flow coefficient than centrifugal fans. Fills the gap between axial fans and centrifugal fans. Together with the characteristics of a simple and convenient installation. The mixed flow (or axial impulse) fan combines the characteristics of both axial and centrifugal fans, although it looks more like a traditional axial fan.

The zigzag plate-shaped blades are welded to a conical steel hub. The flow rate is modified by changing the point of view of the blades in the inlet housing upstream of the impeller. The housing may have an open inlet, but more commonly it has a right angle zigzag shape that allows the motor to be placed outside the duct. The secretion housing expands slowly to slow down the air or gas flow and convert kinetic energy into useful static pressure.

Role differences modify the role of axial fans and centrifugal fans in mechanical ventilation, because the difference in temperature text grain temperature, ventilation moment should be selected in the daytime to reduce the gap between the grain temperature text temperature, to reduce the occurrence of condensation. Future ventilation is selected as far as possible in the evening, because this ventilation is based on cooling, relatively high atmospheric humidity and low temperature at night, which reduces the water loss, but also makes full use of the low temperature at night to improve the cooling effect.
